I include an engagement session in all of my wedding packages. To help ease some nerves, I do offer engagement shoots as a separate session. This will help both of us get a feel for working together and allow you to make sure I am the wedding photographer for you. I ultimately want you both to be happy with your experience and your photos.

My perspective on love + marriage has changed since I met my husband, Aaron. Loving someone means you accept them for who they are, with all of their flaws, and you would do anything for them. You encourage them, comfort them, protect them. You are there with them when they are at their lowest lows and highest highs. It's a blessing to have someone who loves you back in the same way. God made marriage. Marriage is a sacred thing and the point of it is to come before God and make it be known that you will love your one person for the rest of your life.

My favorite sessions are those where you can naturally see the love between two people. The natural chemistry is beautiful and makes taking photos so easy.
I do my best to make sure that we have plenty of time together so that all of my couples are able to get comfortable in front of my camera. After about the first 10 minutes is when the magic really starts to happen and when the chemistry comes out.

I like to do a good combination of posed and documentary styled photos. I go between telling you what to do with you hands to giving you an activity to do and just letting you do it. I edit true to color and I don't do any body-altering photoshopping.

I do light retouching while editing. I remove small blemishes and the occasional flyaway hair. If more retouches are desired, I will do them at $5.00 per photo.

Once your gallery has been delivered, make sure you download the entire gallery to a hard drive or other memory device. I have to remove aging galleries due to limited storage space. However, I back up the galleries in several spots, so they will still be available if your copy goes missing or something happens to it. A re-delivery fee will be an additional $30.00.

All wedding retainer fees are $300 and retainers are non-refundable. It is due at the time of your engagement session. In the case that we need to reschedule or cancel (Heaven forbid), the retainer will be used to cover any work completed and reserves your date.

I do not currently have a set second shooter that I can provide at every wedding. Arrangements can be made so that a second shooter will be present. This will require an additional fee between $50-75 per hour the second shooter is there.
